COUNSELING SERVICES
OF LONGMONT is a for profit agency. The mission of Counseling
Services of Longmont is to provide tools that will empower
individuals
to make choices which will positively impact their livelihood,
their loved ones, and their community. Counseling
Services of Longmont serves the geographical jurisdictions
of Boulder,
Weld, Adams, Larimer and Denver Metro areas.
Personnel
Counseling Services of Longmont currently employs 10 career
staff and college interns. Bilingual services are available.
Education
The agency currently has staff available to speak on topics
regarding relationship issues, healthy relationships, and
aggressive behavior. Training videos are available as well
as a lending library for clients on relationships and domestic
violence.
Direct Services
Counseling Services of Longmont provides domestic violence
approved treatment for male and female offenders.
Counseling includes: anger management for individuals, families
and couples; co-parenting program primarily for divorce,
ADAD approved Level I and Level II classes; addiction treatment
and monitored sobriety program. Counseling Services does
not provide victim shelter or ongoing victim support groups.
NA group meets at the agency on Wednesdays at noon. Counseling
Services accepts client personal insurance. A sliding scale
is available. Domestic violence weekly treatment is $25 a
session.
Financial
Counseling Services has a contract with the Boulder County
Health Department in which referred residents may use vouchers
for treatment or sobriety monitoring.
Support
Referral and consultations are provided to clients.
Safety
Counseling Services offers victim advocate services.
