DOMESTIC ABUSE PREVENTION
PROJECT (DAPP) is a county governmental agency, in existence
since its inception as a task force
in 1985. DAPP's mission is to work towards
the cessation of all domestic violence. DAPP recognizes domestic
violence as criminal behavior requiring appropriate system
response. DAPP serves the geographical jurisdiction of Boulder
County.
Personnel
The Domestic Abuse Prevention Project currently employs two
coordinators, one research analyst and several volunteer
interns. Limited bilingual services are available.
Education and Technical Assistance
Research and data collection/analysis of local criminal domestic
violence trends. Trouble shooting and problem solving system
gaps and barriers to effective interventions and services.
Public speakers are available, specific to domestic violence.
Assistance with research and grant writing needs. Office
hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
