DART, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit
agency, in existence for seven years. DART provides provides
professional instruction in the prevention and management
of violence in the workplace, in relationships, and in any
other setting where the possibility of violence
exists
along with effective personal safety training. DART
serves the geographical jurisdiction of the State of Colorado
and southern Wyoming.
Personnel
DART, Inc. currently employs 1 paid administrator and 14
contractors. Agency staff will be available to provide
specialized training in violence prevention specifically
dating violence prevention, workplace violence prevention,
stalking awareness and personal safety. Bilingual services
are not available.
Education
The agency currently has agency speakers to address the issues
of healthy relationships and dating violence prevention,
workplace violence prevention, stalking awareness and personal
safety. DART prides itself in customizing to client needs.
Direct Services
Provides no direct services related to domestic violence.
Primary focus is prevention/education.
Financial
The vast majority of DART coursework is offered through organizations
such as hospitals, schools, private businesses and municipalities.
Some classes are scheduled in conjunction with a community
event for public attendance. DART has contributed extensively
on behalf of people who do not have funding. DART agrees
to continue to participate in outreach groups as necessary.
