MARGARET KERRIGAN, M.A., LPC, is
a licensed professional counselor. Ms. Kerrigan’s
mission is to help people recover from trauma and abuse.
Margaret Kerrigan primarily serves the geographical jurisdiction
of Boulder, Adams, Larimer and Weld counties.
Personnel
Margaret Kerrigan is the sole proprietor and only employee.
No bilingual services are available.
Education
Margaret Kerrigan currently has the capacity to provide experiential
trainings to agencies, businesses and professionals in
Ethics: The Right Use of Power.
Direct Services
Margaret Kerrigan provides treatment for domestic violence
victims and is an approved provider for Boulder County
District Attorney’s Victim Compensation Board. Additionally,
she provides body-centered counseling, including Somatic
Experiencing trauma therapy, to those with general mental
health needs and to victims of trauma and abuse as a result
of childhood neglect and sexual abuse; assaults, acts of
war; injuries; car accidents; and complicated medical interventions.
She specializes in working with those who have dissociative
disorders. Office hours are by appointment.
Financial
Fees are private pay or through medical insurance providers.
Support
Margaret Kerrigan participates in a large network of agencies
within the domestic violence arena and works collaboratively
for referrals.
Safety
Margaret Kerrigan provides direct counseling and support
for clients in developing safe strategies for living and
referral to appropriate agencies when higher safety needs
are recognized.
