ST. VRAIN FAMILY
CENTER(SVFC), a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) agency, in existence since
1999. The mission of the St. Vrain Family Center
is
to promote healthy parenting and family relationships by
providing educational opportunities, supportive services
and resources in a safe and nurturing environment. St.
Vrain Family Center serves the geographical jurisdiction
of the
St. Vrain Valley Public Schools and beyond.
Personnel
St. Vrain Family Center currently employs 3 staff members and numerous volunteers.
Agency staff is available to assist with domestic violence related intakes
for S.A.F.E. Services. Office hours vary so please call to make an appointment.
Education
The agency has speakers to address the issues of parenting related to domestic
violence. Ongoing parenting classes are offered, including Positive Parenting & Boot
Camp for New Dads. Call for Spanish offerings. Various parenting videos and
books are available from the Lending Library & Community Resource Center
(list available to LEVI).
Direct Services
All SVFC services (parenting courses & S.A.F.E. Services) are available
via voluntary choice or court order directives. Referral will be provided if
services are not available at the SVFC.
Financial
Fees are associated with services. SVFC provides a sliding
scale based on income.
Safety
S.A.F.E. Services includes safe child exchanges and supervised parent visitation
programs. Services are available in Spanish & English. Special child
needs are negotiable. S.A.F.E. Services operate Wed, Thurs, Fri, from 4 pm-8pm
and Sat from 8am-7pm and Sun from 12pm-7pm.
