LONGMONT UNITED HOSPITAL is non-profit agency, in existence since 1959. Longmont United Hospital is dedicated to improving the health of their patients and communities they serve. Longmont United Hospital serves the City of Longmont and many neighboring towns such as Lyons, Estes Park Berthoud, Firestone, Mead, Frederick, Dacono, Erie, Louisville, Lafayette, Boulder, Loveland and other areas.

Personnel

Longmont United Hospital employs 1,200 staff. The hospital has nurses, social workers, and clergy available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide assistance to domestic violence patients who are admitted to the Emergency Department or to the hospital.

Education

Patients in the Emergency Department or those admitted to the hospital may receive counseling from trained nurses, social workers and chaplains if domestic violence is suspected.

Direct Services

For patients admitted to Longmont United Hospital’s Emergency Department (or to the hospital itself), the hospital can provide trauma and emergency services in addition to medical, surgical, psychiatric and chaplain services.

Financial

Patients are provided care irrespective of financial ability.

Support

Longmont United Hospital provides medical care, social workers, psychiatrists and chaplains to patients admitted to the Emergency Department or to the hospital.

Safety

Longmont United Hospital collaborates with community resources to ensure patient’s safe return to the community.
