Month of February– Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month – Longmont Public Library (Teen Section), 409 4th Avenue; Longmont Youth Center, 1050 Lashley Street
A display of books and materials on teen dating violence throughout the teen section and a display in the front of the Longmont Youth Center displaying statistics about teen dating violence and how people can become more aware about the pressing issue.
Members of LEVI view the issue of domestic violence from different perspectives. This is, in part, due to the different roles we all play in the elimination of domestic violence. Every agency is willing to share these experiences with the community.
LEVI offers approved, standards-based, health presentations for grades 6-8. These presentations are interactive, progressive and engaging. In addition, we partner with TERA (Teens Ending Relationship Abuse) and the Longmont Police Department to deliver presentations to high school students. For more information on our presentations, click LEVI- Middle School Presentations Overview.
Presentations can include, but are not limited to:
- Domestic Violence
- Animal Abuse
- Workplace Violence
- Teen Dating Abuse
- Middle School: Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships
- Elder Abuse and Domestic Violence in Later Life
If your club or group is interested in having a member of LEVI make a presentation, please call 303.774.4534 or email to request a presentation.
