INTERVENTION, INC. is a private non-profit agency, in business since 1986. Their mission is to be the leading provider of offender monitoring and re-entry services to improve community public safety. Intervention, Inc. serves the geographical jurdisdiction of the 1st, 2nd, 4th,7th, 10th,11th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st Judicial Districts of State of Colorado. Intervention has a local office in Longmont, CO.

Personnel
A Victim Services Specialist is available to respond to concerns and needs of victims of offenders being supervised by Intervention statewide. Intervention, Inc., currently employs several private probation case managers in their Longmont office and has a highly trained domestic violence specialist that can immediately respond to domestic violence issues at the local level.

Education
Intervention, Inc., provides numerous updated statewide information and referrals regarding victim rights, safety plans and crisis line phone numbers. The Longmont Domestic Violence Victim Services Specialist is available to provide presentations to community groups regarding Intervention, Inc. victim services.  Interested parties can contact the Longmont Intervention, Inc. office at 303-772-4494 or they may contact Statewide Victim Services Coordinator Randy Saucedo, MPA at 303-450-6000 ext. 43 for further assistance.

Shelter
Intervention provides no direct housing services; however, Intervention Inc, maintains resources for victim referral purposes.

Direct Services
Intervention, Inc. contracts with Boulder County Probation to provide adult, male and female supervision of low risk probation cases, many of which include domestic violence. The cost of the offender pay program is determined by state statute. Intervention, Inc., also provides electronic home monitoring, Global Positioning System, remote alcohol breath testing technology and monitoring of UA’s, BA’s and Antabuse. Office hours vary with services; however, private probation office hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. In response to the Victim Rights Amendment and to the awareness of the scope of victim issues, Intervention, Inc, has invested in and developed resources dedicated totally to victim concerns. Randy Saucedo, MPA is availalbe to provide services to victims of offenders on supervision as well as offenders that become victims while on probation.

Financial
Services are offender funded and sliding scale assessments are available. There is no cost of services provided to victims

Support
Statewide victim Services.  The coordinator works directly with Victim Service Specialist at the Intervention, Inc. office in Longmont and is able to respond to victim needs and make referrals to other agencies as appropriate.
